Well Izze had her 3rd X-Ray on her hips and she has been cleared to get out of her brace. We are so excited! We have to go back in 3 months for another X-Ray. Her hips bones are still not formed all the way but our Dr. feels confident that she is moving in the right direction just a little slower than normal. We will keep going back for X-rays every 3 months till she is a year old and then she will get yearly X-Rays to make sure she is developing correctly till she is the age 15.
The X-ray is of Izze's hips. If you look at it you can see where the hip bones is missing. There is something there because she kicks and moves her legs. It is just cartilage still and has not formed to bone. Cartilage does not show up on the X-Rays.
