My sister Kim and husband Kris and kids, Kayla and Kyle came to Colorado last week. It was great seeing them all. We had not seen them since I was back there in August. We were busy the whole time they were here. Friday we went to Jon's office and walked around the stadium. It is nothing like the Metrodome...:)
Saturday we all went to the Aquarium in Denver. It was a blast. That night we went to dinner at the Spaghetti Factory downtown Denver. It was so yummy!!!
Sunday we went down the Colorado Springs. Kim and Kris really wanted to go to New Life Church. The service was great! After that we went to Garden of the Gods and Cave of the Winds and the Air Force Academy. It was a packed day but everyone had fun.
Monday we went to the Science Museum... Even better it was Free day. We could have stayed there all day but we had to do naps.
Monday night Jon and I had our first date night without Izze. It was fun and nice but found ourselves talking about her most of the time. WE were glad that we got to get out but happy to get back to her.
Tuesday we headed up the mountains and Jon and Kris went Skiing and Snowboarding. It was a beautiful day in Breckenridge. Kim and I and the kids went to the outlet mall and talked in the car while the kids slept. It was a perfect day. The ride home not so much... The kids were in the car too much and wanted to get out.
Jon and I were so glad that the Dorn family came. We are so happy that they got to meet Izze. Miss you guys already. See you soon.
